Sebastian is a registered Clinical Psychologist and AHPRA board-approved supervisor, who has worked across a number of settings, including private and public psychiatric hospitals, trauma-informed specialty education, the Department of Veteran Affairs and community private practice.
As director of the Wise Psychology Group, Sebastian supports people in the outpatient setting who are experiencing difficulties with OCD and specific anxiety-related disorders. In addition, Sebastian also works at The Melbourne Clinic, a private psychiatric hospital in Richmond Victoria, where he has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). His approach to the treatment of OCD is supportive and collaborative, seeking to empower others through the use of evidence-based practice (e.g. Exposure Response Prevention). Treatment can be delivered face-to-face, via Telehealth or in group format.
In addition to his clinical work, Sebastian is involved in facilitating workshops for corporate wellbeing and clinical education. This has included collaboration with Healthy Business, presenting onThe Reflective Leader, and online webinars with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA), presenting on The Trauma-informed Practitioner. In his downtime, Sebastian enjoys playing basketball and hiking.
